MEET THE TEAM
The Central Budget Office is the official source of University information regarding overseeing operating and capital budget systems for the institution, including state-level financial reporting, legislative appropriations management, and institutional budget allocations. The Central Budget Office leads the institution in multi-year financial planning and analysis, providing strategic leadership in resource alignment, forecasting, and financial decision-making support for academic and administrative units.
These offices report to Gary McArthur, Chief Financial Officer, and are comprised of highly talented and hard-working staff.

What is your role in the Budget Office, and how long have you been here? 21 years in the Budget Office—first as a manager and then as director.
What is something that you’ve done but will never do again? Help first graders learn numbers.
When did you first know you loved numbers? In first grade, when I helped others learn numbers.
What household chore do you like the least? Dusting, since it comes right back.
